Service & Repair

Regular preventive maintenance is the best way to extend the life of your outdoor power equipment. Whether you just bought new equipment from us or already own equipment that needs some attention, AE Outdoor Power has certified and experienced technicians at all three of our Iowa locations to keep it running like new.

We believe transparency is important when repairing customers' equipment. That's why after our technicians inspect equipment, we email estimates for approval before we do the work. We strive for little to no surprises. If equipment is inspected and you don't choose to complete the work, there is a diagnostic fee charged.

WARRANTY WORK
AE Outdoor Power currently services all brands of outdoor power equipment.  Warranty repairs are provided only for the brands - and their affiliate brands - sold at each of our locations. There are brands for which we will not be authorized to provide warranty work. Please confirm with your local store if we can provide warranty work for your equipment brand.

PICKUP & DELIVERY 
If you don't have a trailer or way to get your equipment to us, all three Iowa locations provide a pickup and delivery service. Please reach out to us for the pickup & delivery price to your area or to schedule an appointment. 

SERVICE
If you are bringing in and picking up your equipment for service or repair, NO APPOINTMENTS ARE NECESSARY.

RIDING MOWER FULL SERVICE

A full service for a tractor or zero turn includes a general inspection and we will do the following: change the oil filter, fuel filter and air filter; install new spark plug(s); sharpen blades; clean and level the deck; check the tire pressure; check charging system; check the steering and tracking; grease and lubricate; check and adjust the engine RPM; inspect the cables; inspect the belts and pulleys; test the safety features and brakes; clean and test the battery; and wash the mower.

WALK MOWER FULL SERVICE

A full service for a walk mower includes a general inspection and we will do the the following: change the oil and air filter; install a new spark plug; sharpen the blades; clean and level the deck; inspect the recoil start system; check and adjust the engine RPM; inspect the cables; inspect the belts and pulleys; test the safety features and brakes; and wash the mower. 

TWO-STAGE SNOW BLOWER FULL SERVICE

A full service for a two-stage snow blower includes a general inspection and we will do the following: change the oil; install a new spark plug; check the tire pressure; check the tracking; grease and lubricate; check and adjust the engine RPM; inspect the cables; inspect the belts and pulleys; test the safety features; and inspect the pads.

SINGLE-STAGE SNOW BLOWER FULL SERVICE

A full service for a single-stage snow blower includes a general inspection and we will do the following: change the oil; install a new spark plug; grease and lubricate; check and adjust the engine RPM; inspect the cables; inspect the belts and pulleys; test the safety features; and inspect the pads.
